The Competent Authority has been pleased to constitute a Committee comprising the following members to examine and formulate draft institutional guidelines governing external teaching assignments undertaken by faculty members with remuneration in CFTIs/Government Institutions/Universities not covered under an MoU with National Institute of Technology Delhi: 1. Dean (Faculty Welfare) 2. Dean (Academics) 3. Dean (Research and Consultancy) 4. Dean (Students Welfare) 5. Manisha Singh, Deputy Registrar (Estt.) - Chairperson -Member -Member -Member -Member The Committee is requested to examine the matter and submit its recommendations on the following Terms of Reference: (a) Eligibility criteria and categories of faculty (regular/contractual) permitted to undertake such assignments; (b) Permissible scope and duration; (c) Conditions relating to honorarium/remuneration, leave, and use of Institute infrastructure; (d) Requirement of NOC/prior approval, undertaking regarding non-hampering of Institute duties, and periodic certification by Head of the DepartmentlDean concerned; (e) Applicability of Rule 15, CCS (Conduct) Rules, 1964 and related DoP&T instructions; and (f) Reporting/record-keeping mechanism for such permissions granted. The Committee is requested to submit its recommendations within a reasonable time frame for the consideration of the Competent Authority.
